Yuling Yan
Postdoctoral Associate, IDSS
Yuling Yan is a Norbert Wiener Postdoctoral Associate at MIT IDSS, mentored by Philippe Rigollet and Martin Wainwright. He obtained his Ph.D. degree at Princeton University in 2023, advised by Yuxin Chen and Jianqing Fan. Prior to that, he received his bachelor’s degree in statistics from Peking University in 2018. His research interests include high-dimensional statistics, non-convex optimization, reinforcement learning, optimal transport, as well as their applications in economics and social sciences.
