Postdoctoral Associate, IDSS
Nisha Chandramoorthy joined IDSS as a postdoctoral researcher in 2021. She is currently working with Stefanie Jegelka and Youssef Marzouk on taking the dynamical systems approach to problems in machine learning theory and data assimilation. She is also interested in mathematical and computational analyses targeted toward climate dynamics applications. She received her PhD in Computational Science and Engineering from MIT in 2021. During her PhD, she worked with her advisor, Qiqi Wang, on developing an algorithm for efficiently computing the statistical response to small parameter changes in certain classes of chaotic systems.
