Chen-Yu Wei
Postdoctoral Associate, IDSS
Chen-Yu Wei is a postdoctoral researcher at IDSS, MIT, mentored by Prof. Alexander Rakhlin. In Fall 2022, he was a Research Fellow at the Simons Institute for the Theory of Computing, UC Berkeley. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Southern California (USC) in 2022, and previously, he received M.S. in Communication Engineering and B.S. in Electrical Engineering both from National Taiwan University. Starting from Fall 2023, he will be an assistant professor in the Computer Science department at the University of Virginia. His research focuses on online decision making and multi-agent learning. His works were recognized by best paper awards in COLT 2021 and ALT 2022, as well as a CAMS award from the Department of Mathematics at USC.
