Ashish M. Chaudhari
Postdoctoral Associate, SSRC
Dr. Chaudhari’s research interests lie at the intersection of statistical machine learning, design automation, and design theory and methodology with a focus on supporting decision making in engineering systems design and human-machine interaction. He envisions a world where humans and machines collaborate for the design of products, processes, and systems.
He received a bachelor’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India in 2015, and his M.S. degree in 2017, and a Ph.D. degree in 2020 from Purdue University, USA, all in Mechanical Engineering. For his research, he has been awarded ICoRD’19 Distinguished Paper Award, ASME Graduate Poster Award, and ASME Design Theory and Methodology Best Paper Finalist Award.
