Amin Rahimian

Postdoctoral Associate, IDSS, Sloan

Amin Rahimian is a postdoctoral associate at the MIT Institute for Data, Systems, and Society (IDSS).

He received his MS in systems engineering and PhD in electrical and systems engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, and an AM in statistics from the Wharton School at UPenn.  Prior to this, he received his MS in electrical and computer engineering from Concordia University (Canada) and his BS in electrical engineering-control from the Sharif University of Technology (Iran)

He was a finalist in the 2015 Facebook Fellowship Competition, as well as the 2016 ACC Best Student Paper Competition.

His research interests include network science, statistics, control and decision theory, with applications to social and economic networks.
