Created by an interdisciplinary team of MIT faculty, this 12-week online Bootcamp provides a comprehensive overview of fundamental concepts in data science, from statistics and applied data analysis to machine learning.
Rigorous data analysis can lead to insights that drive better decision making. There is a growing demand for 21st century data science skills in the private sector, and these skills are also essential to tackling global societal challenges in domains like energy, transportation, and healthcare.
The mission of IDSS is to support data science education not only at MIT, but around the world. This Bootcamp, led by MIT faculty and available entirely online via collaboration with Great Learning, offers a crash course in the skills needed to empower organizations of all kinds to derive meaningful insights from available data.

Mentored Learning: In addition to sessions with MIT faculty, learners also attend mentored sessions in small groups each week conducted by data science industry experts. These sessions focus on hands-on applications and real-world cases.
